Planning kicking sessions

At the moment still going with axe kicks for assessed practical and running 6×30 min session with senior class leading up to moving to side of opponent & kicking (1/2 turn minimum) as these are useful for sparring.

Like most people I have sometimes stepped back when an opponent attacks when side step & counter would be more effective so that’s the plan.

My own personal training schedule is rubbish at the moment and it’s not an ideal time to be doing coaching course at all but life isn’t ideal. 

But I remember as a very green belt being asked to take juniors through basics and early poomsae – andalso thought you must be joking but we all survived intact.
